Year 10 Careers day
Year 10 Careers Day will held on 9 April 2020. This is an important day for Year 10 students to experience many exciting activities, which will help them gain valuable skills to assist with their career decisions. I encourage all Year 10s to prepare for Careers Day, with questions and ideas about future professions and career opportunities they may be considering.
Work Experience - Years 10, 11 & 12
Work experience for Years 10, 11 & 12 will be running during Term 2 Week 10. I highly recommend that your child takes this opportunity to get out into the work force to experience a career path that they are interested in. UAC applications for study in 2021 will open on Wednesday 1 April 2020.
As of, Wednesday 1 April, students will be able to apply for undergraduate and international study as well as Schools Recommendation Schemes, Educational Access Schemes and Equity Scholarships in 2021.
Although not all courses for 2021 will be available, we encourage students to choose one course to complete their application and come back later to review and change their preferences. All semester 1, 2021 courses will be available from August as per usual.
Early bird applications will close at midnight on Wednesday 30 September and offer rounds and other deadlines will also remain the same as previous years. Schools Recommendation Schemes will close earlier this year. Mark midnight on Sunday 20 September in your diary as the new closing date for SRS. All UAC key dates will be available on UAC’s website from 1 April.

UCAT Test Information
Are you in Year 12? Considering a Career in Medicine or Dentistry?
IMPORTANT - From 2020 students interested in studying Medicine, Dentistry and some other Clinical Science courses at a member university will sit the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) as part of their admissions process.
UCAT replaced the UMAT (Undergraduate Medical and Health Sciences Admission Test) from 2019 for university entry in 2020.
